Taking a character from a static sketch to a fully realized, living entity is where true magic happens in animation. You’ve already proven your foundation with visual design—now it’s time to give those creations a heart, personality, and rhythm.
Focus on the Foundations: Remember your core animation principles—anticipation, squash and stretch, timing, and weight. Every subtle eye blink or secondary movement adds a layer of truth to your character.
Embrace the Iteration: Rigging and timing take patience. If a keyframe feels off or a weight paint acts up, treat it as part of the refine-and-polish process. Great animation is built through continuous tweaking.
